The neighborhood/location was a pleasant surprise and the house looked very nice and accurate to the listing. It was wonderful to have more space than a hotel room for the same price! When reading other reviews we anticipated some cleanliness issues, but found the house to be mostly clean except for some “deep cleaning” issues (ex: mold in toilet/washing machine; spider webs/cobwebs in corners). The property has been partially updated with nice finishes in kitchens and bathrooms, but some light maintenance needs to be done (ex: chipped marked up paint; small stains on furniture; baseboards). I contacted the host and VRBO when I did not hear back from the host after 12 hours. VRBO told me I would hear from Kentucky Life about a refund, but after 2 weeks, I heard nothing. I had to reach out to VRBO again today, and I'm being gaslit about the policies. This has been the biggest headache- I should have stuck to hotels. When we arrived, the yard had not been mowed but that was soon taken care of. It was in a wonderful location...close to a park and convenient to shopping. Everything was just like it was described and pictured. We will definitely stay there again. ##### Carol M.
