One of Kentucky Local Rentals prized properties, Bungalow Bill’s. Beautifully remodeled yet historic craftsman built in 1918. The home plus pleasant neighborhood, although updated the house`s original character and craftsmanship has been preserved. Located in one of Lexington`s most desirable and stylish neighborhoods, Kenwick, and adjacent to Chevy Chase. Enjoy Lexington like a local in this hip spot near downtown, UK Campus, Keeneland, Rupp Arena, and a short drive to the Kentucky Horse Park.
Bungalow Bill’s is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath property with room for 6 people to sleep comfortably. The first Floor offers a spacious open floor plan with lots of natural light, a fully renovated and functional kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a queen sized bedroom, full bath and mudroom entrance off of the back deck. The second floor offers a full bath, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, spacious guest closet and another queen sized bedroom.
Wonderful covered front porch, large back deck with grill and spacious back yard offer tons of outdoor entertaining. Off street parking for up to 3 vehicles is available. The house is ideal for UK sporting events, Keeneland Races, Horse Park Eventing, and Lexington`s Town Branch is on the Official Bourbon Trail.
Owners and Property Manager live nearby and are readily available. Kentucky Local Rentals hosts multiple vacation rentals in the greater Lexington area and are ready to give you a Kentucky Experience you wont forget. Kenwick is absolutely lovely and very community and locally driven. Walking around the area is inspiring; the architecture and preservation is beautiful! Located a block from Ashland: Henry Clay`s Estate which was established in 1811 and is a beautiful preserve of historic property and nature. Tons of shopping, restaurants and bars in Chevy Chase, Downtown and the Warehouse Block. Grocery, liquor store, drug store all within a mile.
Lextran picks up nearby and has frequent scheduled runs to downtown and Keeneland Race Track. Location is about an $8 Uber/Lyft to downtown/Rupp Arena. You must notify us when when bringing a pet. We graciously allow pets, however, out cleaning crew charges an additional $150 for cleanup after pets, therefore, there will be an additional $150 nonrefundable fee charged to you immediately after you make a reservation if you have a pet. A maximum of 2 pets allowed. Also, there is a no smoking policy inside the units. There is a $1500 smoke remediation cost that will be charged for removal of smoke smell. There will be a $500 refundable damage security deposit put on as hold put on your card a few days before check out that will come off a few days after check out if there is no damage. Thank you.

Fantastic restful vibe, perfect oasis for tourists
Impeccably tidy, peaceful. We had a great stay here visiting family in Lex. Extremely kind and attentive hosts. They even brought pie dishes over so that we could make our traditional holiday desserts. Excellent property.
We stayed only 2 nights, but everything was perfect. Communication was great, house was clean and welcoming, and location was perfect. And, the welcome basket was a lovely surprise. 100% recommend.
Great location with cute neighborhood coffee and wine bar. Very convenient for UK football, basketball, and Keeneland. Great location to enjoy all Lexingto has to offer. The house has a nice living room area for a group, with 3 bedrooms. One thing to note is the upstairs bathroom’s toilet is not user friendly given the very tight location against the wall so you really only have one toilet for a 3 bedrooms house.
Wonderful house with everything one needs for short or longer stay. Great neighborhood with wonderful coffee shop and easy trip downtown or most places around town. My dogs loved the backyard as well as walks around Ashland. Highly recommend!
The home was very clean and accommodating... As well as beautiful! Very lovely home! The location was perfect for shopping, eating, visiting family nearby, etc. Just perfect! I hope to book again in the future!

Adorable house - clean and spacious for our weekend crew in town for the UK game - Keeneland and a few distilleries. Great communication from the host and was very responsive! Close to downtown in a desirable neighborhood. I would give a full 5 stars - but the only concern I would point out is if you have mobility issues - there are challenges with the very small bathroom upstairs (closing door using the "facilities" and in and out of tub/shower) along with the clawfoot tub/shower downstairs - no handle to help in and out of shower (if you need it).
While this bungalow is rich in history, I was truly struck by its cleanliness and undeniable charm. Ideally located just off Richmond Avenue, it’s close to a wonderful selection of shops, restaurants, and cafes, with easy access to the downtown area. Traveling for business, I brought my dog along so he could also enjoy the home and the secure, fenced backyard. By the third day, he had made himself comfortable and felt completely at ease. The check-in process was seamless, and I never needed to contact the owner during my stay. The bungalow is thoughtfully furnished, complete with all the little touches that make for a cozy and comfortable visit. My only recommendation would be to add additional lighting to the backyard and back deck, as well as blinds or curtains for the back door—I often had to rely on my phone for light after sunset, which was a bit inconvenient. Aside from that, this is an outstanding place to stay.
This lovely house was perfect for our stay. We came for a baseball tournament for son. I had grandparents with me who slept on the main floor. My son and myself used the upstairs. I loved that you could control the temperature upstairs and down separately. I get hot and my parents were cold so it was perfect. This only issue we had was that there isn’t a house number on the porch. We weren’t sure at first we were in the right place but once we figured it out everything was wonderful. Exactly as advertised and very clean. We would recommend staying here anytime!
Such an amazing older home with all the amenities. We stayed here with family, in from all over the country. Easy walk to Asheland and many cute places to eat.
This is a wonderful property and the owners were quick to respond to any needs. Great if you have small children, steps are gated and a high chair is available.
This home was impressively charming and very comfortable. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our family time as we celebrated graduation from UK. We appreciate the efforts to keep things nice and let others like us enjoy it for a while. This was a great experience.
