Convenient to many distillaries which makes it great to come back to after a day of touring. The pool table is a nice touch as it gives you something to do for a bit. Kitchen and bedrooms were clean. The house was great and right in the heart of everything. It was ideal for trips to Lexington, Bardstown, Frankfort, etc. The pool table was a bonus as it gave some entertainment during heavy storms. It’s very quiet and tucked nicely into a corner where there are no interruptions. It was of the best night sleeps we’ve had!! You are walking distance to restaurants and distilleries and a short drive into anything you could possibly want between Lexington and Louisville. The home was filled with just about everything we needed (and then some), and the extra propane tank fill for our evening fires was appreciated. Very spacious for 4 adults traveling together. For what we used, kitchen was adequately stocked. Coffee station was an added bonus. Pool table was nice, however additional living room seating and a dining table would be more practical I think. There were plenty of towels, however, they seemed to be “thrown” into the cabinets, with some even in a kitchen cabinet? Linens left in dryer as well. We would definitely stay here again. House was nice and roomy. Nice big kitchen with big countertops. Location was great for distillery tours. Unfortunately, a lot of cobwebs, with bugs in them under cabinets in kitchen and throughout the home, but they were easy to clean up. Area was quiet at night. Home great for our dogs and it was great that it was offered as pet friendly. Access to area attractions from homes location was great.
