Lovely cottage in a lovely setting!

Perfect Getaway

Wonderful cottage on a beautiful property! The cottage is beautiful, well stocked, plenty of room for all and had an easy checkout process. The location is a convenient base to visit area distilleries and horse farms to tour. Once you’re back, it’s such a peaceful getaway- relaxing, ability to walk the property, see their animals, and just enjoy some tranquility. We hope to return soon for a longer stay!

Beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the serenity of the property. We have lots of photos of the horses, peacocks, and other animals we encountered on our walks. Locations was convenient to bourbon distilleries, Keeneland, Versailles and Lexington. Cottage was clean, well stocked and comfortable for our group. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful Home!

We have stayed in several rental homes over the years, and this home at Orchard Park Farms is one of the best! Beautiful home and property, everything we needed for a long weekend. The owner/property manager was lovely - great communication, easy to reach if we had questions. We will be back!

Peaceful Retreat

We stayed here while visiting our daughter at University of Kentucky. It was a wonderful stay and we felt recharged by the peaceful beauty of this farm. The home is clean and pictures and description of the property are accurate. The owners communicated well and the check in and check out instructions were easy to follow. This was our second time staying here and we’ll be back.

You won't be disappointed

We loved our time at the cottage. Kitty and the staff on the farm were so wonderful. They made us feel at home! The cottage is a perfect in every way and you won't forget the memories you'll make here being in the middle of an actual working horse farm. We will be returning here in the future and enjoying more relaxing stays.

Tranquility Plus

Such a comfortable/cozy cottage and grounds. Takes one away from the chaos of today's world. Would recommend to my friends. The owner came by before we left and he is a very interesting man; especially given his relationship with the Keeneland Race Track and the world of thoroughbreds.

Relaxing cottage getaway

We loved staying on this property. It is quiet and is conveniently located close to Keeneland, Lexington, Woodford Reserve and few other cute little towns. The house is situated in the middle of a horse farm where you could look out your window and see horses, cows and a donkey. We had everything that we needed for a 3 night stay here. Kitty and Ryan were very nice and they were helpful in providing recommendations on places to eat and things to do. When we come back to the Lexington area, we will definitely stay here again!

Family weekend

I had looked at this cottage awhile ago and am glad we were finally able to stay there. Really enjoyed the lovely view and walks all over the property. Communication with the owner was easy and answered promptly. Good directions and easy check in. Everything we needed supplied in the cottage. Thanks for the fresh eggs from the chickens! Would like to return.

Absolutely stunning!!

This place is absolutely amazing! The cottage is located on a working horse farm and it is beautiful. We stayed here for a weekend trip to a few distilleries, some golf and some disc golf. The cottage had everything that you would need and the location is beautiful. The hosts are so nice and told us to explore anywhere that we wanted to on the farm. The farm is so large, we could go for a morning run, just on the driveway as it was over 1 mile round trip. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this for your stay in and around Lexington!

Wonderful weekend

Our family had the most wonderful weekend on the farm. It was the perfect getaway for our boys—such a great escape from virtual school! We had the best time walking around, meeting all of the animals, and having some picnics in the front yard. Allison was so kind to take us on the gator to see the baby calf! Absolutely the highlight of the trip! We enjoyed chatting with the owners and learning about raising horses. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic and relaxing

This is one of the most beautiful setting you will ever see. Horses in the fields and gorgeous views. The cottage is quiet, comfortable and well appointed. People at the farm were warm and welcoming. Even the yearlings were friendly. Fantastic week with girlfriends. Everything was better than advertised. Highly recommend the cottage for people respectful of the property.

Tranquility

Picturesque cottage which sits amidst the rolling hills of the Orchard Park horse farm. Serene setting and the home had all of the needed amenities. We particularly enjoyed the horses right across from the home as well as all of the other animals on the property (the owner's dogs down the way, the barn cat, chickens, and peacocks). The owners were very welcoming and even invited us to pick tomatoes from their garden, which was a ways down from the cottage. The home is also conveniently located (10-20 min drive) to horse farm tours, bourbon trail distilleries, restaurants, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway.

Best Kentucky Derby Trip

This farm was gorgeous, immaculately groomed and the most beautiful horses. Every mare had foals ranging from 1-4 months old and they were very friendly. Most came to the fence to be petted. It was wonderful to walk out the door or just look out the window to watch them nursing, grazing, or rolling in the grass. There was plenty of room to walk around the property for exercise and just to look around. The house was very nice and functional. We grilled on the porch and just enjoyed the scenery. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. We enjoyed the artwork and antiques in the house. The house had plenty of supplies, spices and condiments in the kitchen and cookware and dishes. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. This was such a nice place. We would love to go back soon. Thank you, Laura and family from North Palm Beach.
