Originally located on Main Street, the house was relocated to its current location. Guests are welcomed by a paved walkway to an entrance on the side of the house. Guests are within walking distance to downtown Georgetown and Georgetown College. This house is an easy 12 minute drive to Kentucky Horse Park and it’s newly updated and beautifully decorated. The master bathroom had a double sink vanity with an awesome rain shower. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds and linens. The house was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The owner left a vase of fresh flowers on the kitchen counter for us which was lovely. This property also has a cute little backyard with four chairs and a gas fire pit and nice landscaping. Parking was across the street in an empty lot and the area was quiet but around the corner from a number of cute shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. It is located in historic downtown Georgetown which has its own charm. Many eateries and shops within walking distance, you almost don't need to leave town. We visited the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum which were a good drive out to each, but we thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the property each night. There is a gas fire pit on the back patio that wasn't pictured, so that was an unexpected surprise. It is an old frame of a house that has been completely updated in every way. Lots of historic buildings and churches along with the college campus to see and plenty of restaurant chains and groceries a short drive away. Some things to note; when we stayed the coffee maker was a Kuering but pods were provided - thank you! It was cold and a steady temperature was hard to maintain throughout the house but using the electric fireplace in the front bedroom helped. There were also plenty of cozy, clean blankets to keep the cold at bay. There was live music from the main street just up the hill on Friday night but it was not disruptive nor did it go on very late due to the noise ordinance of the little town.
