Easy drives to Buffalo Trace, Woodford, Wild Turkey, Whiskey Thief, Four Roses and more. Clean, comfortable and convenient! Great amenities on site. Comfy beds. This was a wonderful stay for us! The location was within walking distance to the Capital building and downtown. As the first guests to stay, we found so many great touches throughout the property, all with guests' comfort and convenience in mind!The decor is trendy and pleasant with a uniform color scheme throughout. Obvious care went into the remodeling of three (yes, three!) bathrooms. Each bedroom had a king-size bed, which our three teenagers enjoyed. Rooms are large and comfortable, and the house is well stocked with linens and consumables. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything we needed for our stay--even made a charcuterie tray while we were there! We were not on the Bourbon Trail, but the house is well equipped for those who are. The outdoor space is well planned with a nice privacy fence, deck with firepit, and an all-season hot tub (our 16-year-old's favorite!!). Traveling with our cockapoo makes the fenced-in backyard a must-have.The location is excellent--easy access to cute restaurants in downtown Frankfort and to freeways if traveling to see the sites as we were. Our hosts were excellent and very communicative, always checking in to see how our visit was going and providing clear instructions on check-in and check-out procedures. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the house and would definitely return if in the area again! ##### Kris S. Very clean, neat and beautifully decorated. We used the home for a holiday family reunion. Very easy check-in. They even made the door code personalized to us so that it was easy to remember. Location is less than a mile to a lot of great stuff Downtown Frankfort and a short drive to a lot of distilleries/golf courses between Lexington and Louisville. We traveled to Frankfort for my husband's 50th birthday celebration in which he wanted to check out the bourbon trail. We were traveling with two other couples, so I selected this property because of the king beds. But the property ended up being perfect in every way! The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, the outdoor fire pit and hot tub were great for relaxing after a long day of bourbon tasting, and the beds were SO comfy. I honestly don’t want to give the 5 star review. The only reason why, is I don’t want other people knowing about it. That will only make booking harder for us in the future. This was the second time staying here and not our last. It was just us guys the first time we stayed. We found it to be fitting for our wives and brought them along this time. They are ready to go back next time. Only issue we have found, and it’s not that big of a deal, you better be good on a grill. We like to grill at night for supper and it can be challenging to cook on. The temps are not regulated well across the grill.
