Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped home on o a gorgeous setting. Julia was the perfect host there to answer questions and offer recommendations. The week flew by. We look forward to a return visit. Thanks for everything Julia.
Very nice old farm house on a working horse farm. A mare an it’s foal (1 week old) spent most of their day in the field next to the house and loved to visit with us when we went up to the fence. Host was wonderful and the house had all the amenities one would ever need.
This place is heavenly! Absolutely beautiful scenery, gorgeous property and home. The best we have ever stayed at! Location is great, not to far from the city but far enough away from the hussle and bustle. Amazing views all around, no matter which way you look. The host/owner is outstanding! So great from check in to check out! She considers every little detail to make this your home away from home. Just can't say enough! 10 out of 10! Would highly recommend! Thank you again, you and your place made our trip so memorable! Can't wait to come back.
My group of six woman stayed at this cute venue. We loved it. Plenty of room for all of us. The property owner was very responsive, informative, friendly and available. We are already talking about booking again for next year. We did need some help with how to regulate the heat and air features. Horses all around us was amazing!! And the restaurant on the corner was yummy. Best hush puppies I've ever had!

Wonderful quaint farmhouse. Comfortable and cozy. Beautiful surroundings in horse country. Well stocked with everything we needed.
Julia was a fabulous host. Attentive and available.
Four of us stayed here while visiting our daughter in the area over Christmas. Julia had everything all set up for us, in a great area, house was perfect for us, loved being on the farm, having the horses right there, etc. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit!
Very hospitable with a small town feel. Absolutely beautiful scenery with a great view of all of the horses!! Everything was amazing and we will be going back!
We were delighted upon check in - the home was even better than in the photos and description. The personal communication from the host and them going out of their way to make sure we have everything we need during our stay were just some of the many perks of staying at the Colliver House.
Make sure to say hello and be kind to the very sweet horses surrounding the farm!
We hope to be back next year.
This property and Julia were both awesome! The kitchen and the bathrooms were all stocked better than any other place we've stayed. Julia was very responsive to any question or request we had.
We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents.
House was just as described!! With a welcome basket filled with goodie’s and some homemade cookies!! The location was perfect for us in beautiful horse country. We definitely would come back!!
Property is in a great location, clean, well stocked, homemade cookies, and the most hospitable host. Morning coffee with Norman and Moe (horses) was a highlight.
Wonderful location in the midst of horse farms! We appreciated having the refrigerator well stocked as we arrived during very cold weather. There were four adults in our party (family) and the house suited us fine. We would like to try another trip when it is above freezing!
Had a wonderful experience in the farm house. We fed carrots to the horses and enjoyed our coffee on the porch. Location is picturesque in the rolling hills. Julia is a wonderful hostess and spent time with us, walking through the house and giving the history of the property.
Highly recommend this property for your visit to the Lexington area.
The house and farm are beautiful! Everything is neat and clean; and beautifully decorated. Beds are very comfortable. And Julia is the absolute best host! Great communication; Fully stocked refrigerator and pantry, including homemade chocolate chip cookies and so many other “extras”!! Even helped arrange a last minute awesome tour at a local stallion farm on Derby weekend. The best VRBO stay ever!
Julie went above and beyond for us. House was well-stocked, clean, and had everything we needed and more. I have never had such a wonderful experience from a host at a VRBO. Communication was excellent. The house and location were perfect and we would certainly stay there again!
Three girlfriends stayed for 3 nights at Coliver house on Claybank farm. We had an exceptional visit, enjoying the surrounding property, mares and foals. Julia was a very generous and attentive host. We were so fortunate to be able to go with her to visit Spendthrift Farm. Seeing the stallions, trophy room, and spectacular beauty of the grounds was the highlight of our stay. Thank you, Julia and Des for such a memory. And Pepper, you are a dear and a talented tee shirt artist.
This was our second reunion at Claybank Farm, and it was as wonderful as the first. Even better because there were two mares with colts in addition to the horse-friends we made last year. The house is always well-stocked and comfortable. Julia is the best host ever!
We spent our annual reunion at the farm and experienced the Lexington Area. This is our second weekend at the farm and Keeneland. Julia is the best host we have experienced on our travels. One of a kind experience having your coffee and feeding carrots to the horses. Property is top notch and well maintained. The snacks and meal items place for guests make you feel like family. Highly recommend this experience.
This property ( a horse farm) is in a beautiful location among rolling hills and horse farms/ranches. Our host, Julia was amazing as she had anything and everything needed for our stay available for us, including freshly baked cookies, and bacon and eggs to cook for breakfast. Great location just outside of downtown Lexington, with peace and quiet, beautiful horses, and awesome sunrise/set! We WILL be back!
