Sun and sand in the beautiful Fife east coast.
We were lucky (as we have been each time we have visited Homelands) to enjoy beautiful Spring sunshine this time. As always, the immaculate and beautifully equipped lodges cater for all the needs of both the disabled and full bodied members of the party. The coastal towns in the East Neuk are just short drive away and if you're in the mood for something more urban St Andrews has everything you could ask for.
A particular favourite of ours was a trip to St Monans where their famous windmill was reached by a short and reasonably accessible path at the water's edge. The Giddy Gannet there is a terrific reasonably priced and accessible cafe which serves the best cheese scone our resident 'sconnoisseur' has ever eaten.
