Leuven Hotel Guide - Family Friendly Hotels in Leuven, Flemish Brabant

We stayed at the 9 Hotel for two nights in September and I'm so pleased with our choice. The hotel looks small from the outside, compared to some of the massive lumps the chain hotels have. And it's only to its credit. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, more than happy to help whenever they could. The décor of the hotel throughout was stunning, very cool and chic. The room was a really good size with a well thought out bathroom and storage. We upgraded and were really glad we did, the bed was a great size and the addition of a balcony was excellent. Breakfast out there on Sunday morning was a joy in itself, as well as being able to enjoy the scenery and the movement of people on the street below. The last thing I mention is by no means the least, which is the location. Having never been to Brussels and having done some but not a large amount of research, this hotel is perfectly located. All the tourist-y sights you need are within walking distance. There are bars and coffee shops nearby and Central Station is within yards. I'd so happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to travel to Brussels to see the sights. Great hotel, great location.

The hotel is just outside the center, quick train ride or mile walk depending what your mood is. Nice grocery store on the other side with cheap bottled water. The problem with the room was there was no air conditioning. The room www stuffy and when you opened the window it was loud outside. So the room was either hot and stuffy or loud from the outdoors.

Nicely appointed rooms and common lounges ( free nespresso in the morning and afternoon). Great location near the metro and an easy walk to the historic center. 10 min walk to Brussels north train station. Definitely recommended.

Nice stay. Friendly staff at reception who tried to accommodate our room preference, provide maps for tourists which is helpful. Convenient location to the metro station. Top floor sauna is really good.

This was my 4th stay at the Dominican - and I will be staying there again. The location is great and the hotel and staff is incredible. Had to cut my stay short by one day due to a family emergency that required an early departure back to the states. The General Manager did not charge me for the canceled reservation - above and beyond what I expected.
