"Beach is spectacular, sand is soft, and water is picture perfect. Plenty of lounge chairs to relax in on the beach. Hotel needs some major updating and repair. We experienced a power outage, and loss of water for a some time while we were there. Some staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The other 1/2 appeared very unhappy in their work and not very motivated to accommodate guests."

"The property itself is beautiful and the room was very nice, but the resort is not run well. One of us got food poisoning the first night due to undercooked shellfish and spent an entire day of vacation sick in our room. We notified the hotel, they said they would follow up, but they never did. Two nights later, another guest we met got the same undercooked shellfish in the same restaurant, but fortunately she did not eat any of it so did not get sick. This should not have happened a second time, we should have at least gotten an apology, and definitely wevshould not have had to pay the high price for that meal. The food in general was poor, the service was very slow, many choices did not exist, and the servers did not seem at all motivated. All of the prices were very inflated, so we expected that guests would be better treated. We tried to eat outside the hotel as much as possible. The workers were nice enough, but just unresponsive, and that is coming from what seems like an attitude from management of nobody really cares."

"The room was fine. The AC was not working when we arrived - the property engineer was notified and came right away to try to fix the unit. He did his troubleshooting and knew what the issue was - these units are old -he got it to work better ( not prefect as it was never cold in the room ) … day 4 it was definitely not pumping any cold air out - it was cooler outside than in the room. Disappointing…. The staff were friendly and helpful. "

"The ladies at the activity desk and the staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The property is showing signs of aging, and needs some maintenance and repairs. Our specific unit needs some upgrades and replacements (mattress, chairs, faucets, etc...). The lighthouse as a whole is great, as there is a more private gym and pool facility. The property itself is in a great location, being away from the hustle of everything. Getting through traffic to get there sucks, but it's nice and quiet. There needs to be some effort to clean their section of Dawn beach though."

"ok so this my experience with this whole trip. Getting to the island and getting off the place on the tarmac was kind of different but followed up by the fact that it gave me 3rd world country vibes. Now to this All-Inclusive deal that was not cheap it's a like a trap to get you to come. These are the thing that they say are included that were not, Tuscany Ristorante Italiano, Entertainment, Concierge Service, Island Tours, it says 2 hot tubs and 2 pools there was only 1 of each, and the beach was pretty dirty. The staff didn't seem very helpful, and it was like I was bothering them anytime I had a question. The food really wasn't good also they said snacks and drinks are included I never seen them. I literally had to get a taxi to the store for drinks and snacks that costed $30 per person for one way than another $30 to get back. Not to mention the resort is the farthest thing away from anything 30-35mins anyway from everything. The casino was a sad place with maybe 100 slots and 2 tables plus they close at 1am. So, if you like to stay in your room and do nothing but drinking liquor these is the place for you. But if you like doing things and exploring this is not a good spot. overall, this was a disappointing trip "

"Was an excellent experience at very short notice and we will be back! The only thing we needed was a second blanket for the second bed, we called down at 7:30pm, but it didn’t arrive until 8:30am the next morning (morning of our check out). Overall exceptional experience- see you next year!!!"

"The bar staff, waiters, cleaning personnel and bell man were very friendly. The ladies at behind the main desk were not friendly and to be honest always acted like they were annoyed you were there."

"The people were friendly and nice, the grounds well kept and clean. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Stayed twice in six weeks for work and enjoyed both stays."
