"I stayed in a swim-out suite at Sonesta Ocean Point for four nights with my boyfriend, and overall we had a very enjoyable experience. The swim-out suite was excellent, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The resort itself is beautiful, with a great location next to a charming town and a casino, making it easy to explore the area.As for the food, I would rate it as average overall, but Azul was the standout restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were not impressed with the Italian restaurant, although the rest of the dining options were decent for an all-inclusive resort. The drinks were very good throughout our stay. One of the biggest advantages of the resort is that it caters well to both couples and families. The adults-only side is peaceful, with dedicated adult pools, and children generally do not spend much time in that area. The beach is beautiful, but the pathway leading down to it has quite a few rocks that the hotel should clear to improve safety. Beach service doesn’t begin until around 8:30–9:00 a.m., so there’s no need to wake up extremely early for chairs. However, most chairs are taken by noon.We had only a couple of minor issues with our swim-out suite. The door had a larger gap at the bottom than expected, which allowed some hallway noise into the room. We also saw a cockroach come through the gap near the door, although it didn’t get far. I think the hotel could improve the room doors by sealing those gaps better. I would come again!"
