The best time to visit Lesges really depends on what you're hoping to experience, but generally, late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) offer the most pleasant weather. For those who enjoy outdoor activities and exploring the natural beauty of the Hauts region, late spring is ideal. The temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 20°C, and the countryside is green and in full bloom. It's a great time for walking or cycling along the Canal de la Somme or visiting the Parc Naturel Régional de l'Avesnois without the intense heat of summer. If you're interested in cultural excursions and a slightly quieter experience, early autumn is perfect. The summer crowds have thinned, and the weather remains comfortable, usually between 12°C and 18°C. This period is excellent for visiting Lesges' historic sites, such as the local abbey or simply enjoying the local cuisine in a more relaxed setting. The changing colours of the leaves also add a lovely backdrop to your visit. While summer (July and August) brings the warmest temperatures, often reaching 25°C or higher, it's also the busiest period, especially during school holidays.
