Just 14 minutes’ drive away, famous Chamonix boasts a wealth of ski and winter pursuits, as well as a buzzing resort centre with a weekly local food market and plenty of grocery shops and supermarkets to take advantage of. A wide selection of world food restaurants, brasseries, cafes, fine dining and wine & tapas bars are also on hand to whet the appetite throughout the day and night. The location was perfect for my grandchildren to walk over to the ski club and for the adults to walk to the ski lift. Despite having no snow at the time of our visit we were able to enjoy a few days of skiing and the kids enjoyed the ski club. On the days we didn’t ski there were plenty of other activities to enjoy nearby. The layout of the apartment was perfect for our family.
