"This is a great place to stay while exploring Sarlat. It’s close to everything to see in the city center. The building the apartment is in was built in the 1400’s, but the apartment has been updated to modern amenities. It is is spacious and clean. The bed was large and so comfortable. Rebeca, the host, is very kind. She told us a few places to see in the area. She even provided us with a bottle of wine. There are stairs to climb, but it is worth it to stay in this great apartment. "The hotel was just as I remembered it. Beautiful rooms looking out in a courtyard that leads to a very nice swimming pool. Everything about the stay was nice except the restaurant which was very disappointing. I had remembered this from four years ago as a lovely wonderful Happy meal. This time terrible service and ridiculous pricing. They force you into tasting menus with high price and tiny portions. No flexibility. Everybody has to get the same thing. This caused great problems because one member of our family was not feeling well and couldn’t eat much. Also, the seating for the restaurant was in full sun at 8:00 PM and everybody on the patio was uncomfortable as the sun ran its way across their attempted protection of flimsy curtains. That ridiculously expensive meal was the low point of our time in France,"
