Spectacular Barn Conversion With Fantastic Views and Hot Tub

A spectacular and spacious barn conversion, recently upgraded with new kitchen, crisp white linen and fluffy towels. Each sitting room has comfortable soft furnishings, there is Wi-fi, a 55" curved screen TV in the large sitting room and a 36" flat screen in the smaller sitting room. Each sitting room has a large open fireplace.

The modern fitted kitchen includes an induction hob, large oven, microwave combination oven, dishwasher, and a large fridge with separate under-the-counter freezer. There is also a second large fridge/freezer in the utility room.

The Bourg Saint Maurice funicular is about 6km away, it provides ample parking and an 8 minute journey to Arcs 1600. The funicular is included in the standard Les Arcs ski pass.

The property is a converted 150 year old barn with open staircases, galleried landings and original wooden flooring. Children are welcome, however, young children would need close supervision as there are open staircases, galleried landings and the original wood flooring is uneven in some areas.

A large south-facing raised terrace gives spectacular views of the resorts of Les Arcs, La Plagne, and La Rosiere. The raised terrace also provides 2 under-cover parking spaces, there is further on-street parking about 100 metres away. Please respect the neighbours' parking areas. There is plenty of outdoor furniture including a hammock and a hot tub.

There is no charge for the use of the hot-tub, it is a domestic set-up and is not professionally monitored during your stay. No liability will be accepted for any damage or injury caused by its use.

The house is located in an authentic Savoyard village and is adjacent to the main D86 road which is a quiet road, but serves a number of working villages and a school bus run. In snowy weather the road is well-serviced by snow-ploughs, but snow tyres and chains are recommended in case of extreme conditions.

The price includes Egyptian cotton bed-linen, tea-towels, hand-towels, bath-towels, bath mats, and cleaning.

Another great stay
Second time staying in Andy's chalet with a different group of friends to last time. It really is a great space - rustic but super-well equipped and acres of space for 3 families - lots of different areas for people to be and keep the peace between kids/adults! Everything you need and more in the kitchen and the hot tub and pool table are bonuses. If you've made the decision to stay out of resort and willing to accept the 10-min drive down to the Funiculaire (to get up to Arcs 1600 on the other side), this is a great place to relax in the evenings. Hope to go back again another year.

Great chalet for group of families
We were a group of 12, 3 families each with 2 kids between 4 and 8, skiing for the week in Les Arcs. Couldn't have been happier with Andy's chalet - very spacious, well equipped and great space to enjoy the company of friends. Perfect blend of large central space, but then extra areas where kids/parents could do their own thing. Our first time staying out of resort, but great option if you've made that decision, and the chalet was definitely worth the easy daily journey; 10 min drive down to the funicular, 3 Euros to park for the day, and then easy 10 min ride up to Arc 1600 (also part of the experience for the kids). Definitely recommended for large groups with kids aged 4+ (perhaps not great for younger ones due to the stairs/mezzanines).

Fantastic property
Certainly a 5* property. Excellent communication from Andy. Great location only 8-10 minutes by car from Bourg St. Maurice funicular/shops/bars ect.....all of which have ample parking. Extremely spacious property, everything worked i.e wifi tv ect..., well equipped kitchen. Clean comfortable beds, showers good hot and powerful. Definitely would stay again and would highly recommend to friends and family. Genuinely faultless. Thanks Andy. Ben

Wonderful stay in Montgirod
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is big enough for a large group of almost twenty. It is very convenient for cooking, seating, relaxing and sleeping. The house is well decorated and the views are amazing. We had a great time both in the house and outside. It is easy to go to the funicular and reach the ski slopes of Arc 1600. The hot tub and pool are good extras ("La cerise sur le gâteau). One of the best Christmas we've had!

Ein unvergeßlicher Urlaub in einem großartigen Haus.
In diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus haben wir mit drei Familien, 6 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder, zwei Wochen verbracht. Unsere Erwartungen, die wir von diesem Haus durch Beschreibung und Fotos aus dem Internet bekamen, wurden voll und ganz erfüllt, eher noch übertroffen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Reichlich Platz für alle, sowohl innen als auch auf der großen Terrasse und dem gemütlichen Balkon mit der herrlichen Aussicht. Parkplätze waren in unmittelbarer Nähe reichlich vorhanden, zwei Stellplätze sogar direkt am Haus. In dem Haus haben wir uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Man spürt die Liebe und das große Engagement, das die/der Besitzer für die Restaurierung und den Wiederaufbau in das Haus gesteckt haben. Allen, die in einer größeren Gruppe ein paar schöne Tage erleben möchten, können wir dieses Objekt nur empfehlen.

Heel gezellige vakantiewoning, rustig gelegen in een klein dorpje, een 10-tal minuten buiten Bourg Saint Maurice. Meer dan voldoende route voor 14 personen. Leuk terras, prachtig uitzicht.
