It is also 10-15 minutes from all things Chattanooga, including restaurants, museums and all the outdoor activities the city is known for! We highly recommend!"

"Views of the river are amazing in a locale that feels very secluded in a very hilly, woodsy area off of a very narrow mountain road, which is what we were looking for but we also wanted privacy from other people and a place to sit out, relax, enjoy the views and maybe even enjoy the river. From the promotional photos (of kayaks and boats launches) it looks like you can do all that but when you get there, it's not the case. There is a balcony on the unit that's narrow and very small, but condo rules disallow any talking of any kind on that balcony after 9:00 p.m. or before 7 a.m., so we never sat out there. Besides that, it was really not private at all, with the balconies of adjoining units next to you. And what looks like a sundeck in the promotion photos is actually the public sundeck on the condo boat dock. We were welcome to use it but we didn't go out there one time cuz it didn't feel private and it wasn't arranged very attractively, so we just stayed inside, cooked a great meal our first day and spent the rest of the time enjoying downtown Chattanooga and seeing the usual sites. Be warned that the city is about a 20 minute drive but supermarket is less than 10 minutes away which was good. It was an OK stay and not really worth what we paid in my opinion but we enjoyed it; just manage your expectations."

"By far the best experience we have had with a VRBO home, most of the time they are great already. Hosts were great, beautiful home and beautiful scenery. Would recommend to anyone that wants to do stuff in chattanooga, but does not want to stay downtown."

"We had such a lovely stay here and really enjoyed our time! The home was well stocked with thoughtful touches—there were so many board games, kids books, and toys, which made a huge difference for our two little ones. They had an absolute blast and stayed entertained the whole trip.The location is beautiful, with water right across the street and so much nature to explore nearby. It really gave us that peaceful Tennessee feel we were hoping for. We also really enjoyed spending time around the fire pit in the evenings—it was such a nice way to unwind.A couple of things to note for future guests: the home is older, but it is well maintained and everything felt clean and functional. We did notice a wasp nest outside, so there were some wasps flying around during our stay. It wasn’t a major issue, just something to be aware of if you’re spending a lot of time outdoors.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this home to others looking for a relaxing, nature-filled stay!"

The place had everything we needed to cook a family meal, relax outdoors, and even accommodated our pups. 6 adults were more than comfortable here for a long weekend. Host was very easy to communicate with, the space was clean, and there were lots of great local recommendations. "
