Located in the village’s oldest neighborhood, known as Georgakata or Dervisia, this area is mentioned in Venetian land registries from the 18th century and has preserved its authentic character. According to local tradition, the stone building was once the residence of a Turkish dervish during the Ottoman period in Lefkada (1479–1684). Its unique architecture, imposing stone construction, and defensive features—such as ground-floor embrasures—reflect its long history.
