Great hotel, room great , facilities great. The breakfasts well worth the money. Only thing could improve is the check in staff check out staff got the impression didnt really want to be there, didnt really want to help, apart from that perfect stay.
Positives
Lovely clean room, looked like it had recently been refurbished. Large comfortable bed.
Nice breakfast.
Negatives
Walls very thin so didn’t get much sleep due to constant noise from people in the room next door.
Property was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Downside was the price which was extremely high for the quality of the food and drink available. Breakfast was disappointing given the cost, and the bar was extortionate - a single glass of red wine, for example, cost £12, and a small pasta salad cost around £16. The swimming pool was lovely, and the beds were comfortable, if very hot.
Room clean and comfortable, pool area nice, breakfast over prices

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was nice to have a receptionist to help check in as you needed a drivers licence or passport to do so otherwise. There was a very loud party in the function room until 12.40 which kept us all awake. We did complain about the noise and had a free Starbucks but I would have preferred a proper nights sleep after a busy day. The car parking for £5 overnight must have been in the small print. Breakfast was average with staff needing reminders about what had run out. We got the feeling not much attention was paid to breakfast on su days because there was a lunch offer.
Plenty of parking available at this hotel, which had good facilities including a large gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, restuarant and Starbucks all on site. Staff were friendly. Food was good.
Great location for Headingley cricket- pool nice, parking safe but £££
Did not like electronic check in, especially especially when staff are there anyway !
Comfortable room- nice and quiet
Didn't eat pub - very little veggie protein without the junk
Breakfast average.

Staff are very accomodating. Good gluten free breakfast options.
Had a lovely stay at the Village Hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The hotel itself was a lovely place to stay with great facilities, including a Starbucks café and restaurant on site. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay again!
Great hotel staff helpful and friendly will definitely stay there again, only one slight complaint the bar wasn't open late at night for world cup games, but this is no reflection on hotel or staff highly recommend
The room was very comfortable, the staff friendly and the swimming pool was the perfect temperature. We didn't use the gym. The hotel is within walking distance (or a short bus ride) from Headingly Cricket Ground (which is why we were in Leeds). We were in the bar watching the football for England v Croatia in the World Cup, but the service was still fast and there was a great atmosphere too.
