My boyfriend and I came all the way from Indiana to stay and we were pleasantly surprised. This cottage was incredibly clean and had an amazing view of the lake! We loved it so much that we even extended our stay :)
Lovely house, plenty of room for us four. The view, especially at sunset, can't be beat. Could hear the calming sound of waves all night. Just minutes from the national park, and few excellent takeout restaurants. The clean, new hot tub was used dawn and dusk. Would definitely rent again. Paul and Rui were great hosts.
We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Cottage!! The property is incredible with tons of windows to see the lake view. No matter where you are in the house, you always have a lakeview. The property is set up like a hotel with everything you need minus daily housekeeping. Full kitchen equipment, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Having a hot tub was such a nice feature to relax at night and enjoy the lake. Dog friendly which is an amazing plus. Will definitely be booking a stay again next year! The only thing that would make it better would be an outdoor dining area. Paul and Rui are amazing VRBO hosts and made the stay so easy.
With Point Pelee Park only a few minutes away, this is an ideal location. The views of the lake and the hot tub add a lot to the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two couples, with lovely common areas.
The kitchen could be a little better equipped, for example, there wasn’t one good frying pan. Also, we were disappointed that there was no live TV available, and we could only use Netflix or Prime through our own accounts. We felt this was pretty cheap, considering the price we had paid for the week at the cottage.
We had an unbelievable stay. The cottage looks even better in person. They had absolutely everything stocked. Its location is perfection. We will definitely be staying there again. Well done.
Spacious cottage right on shore of Lake Erie at Leamington/Point Pelee. Great Hot tub overlooks water. Nice deck overlooking water. The place was accurately described in the listing. Neighbouring cottage to the north is very close, though that is generally true for most places in the area. We recommend it.

Great property poor property management
The hole and view is gorgeous! Spacious, cute, and accessible. However, the home was not cleaned properly (fake eyelashes from previous guests, cut balloons and decorations from previous guests), zero propane in tank and when I called they said they would have someone bring it over, not until I asked again 17 hours later was it changed. The WiFi did not work the entire time, even after several attempts to have this resolved, property management stopped responding. Great property - terrible management.
We were visiting the National park and this place was very convenient. They also provided a family pass which saved us about $20 per day. The place was clean and spacious. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with basics for food prep. We used the bbq and hot tub while there.
There were no window coverings in the bedrooms which was fine for us because we were getting up early for birding, but might be an issue for some. Would stay here again for sure.
The location was beautiful and perfect for birding at Point Pelee. There could have been more hand towels--4 people and 1 bathroom hand towel for 4 days? The closets were full of storage stuff that made it hard to use them. I was upset to be charged 300.00 for an extra person when the property was advertised for 8 guests, and there were only 5 of us registered. Actually, one of the people had to cancel at the last minute for family reasons, so there really were only 4 of us, but the Dream Team didn't know that, and I'm not sure it would have made any difference in the billing. Otherwise, everything we wanted was conveniently located, and the cottage was a lovely place to be.

Very Poorly Kept
When I first arrived, the home looked to be in good condition and as described in the listing. I left the property to go explore the surrounding areas nearby and when I came back and walked about the house, I was disgusted by the condition. Starting on the main floor, the living room area rug was covered in large stains. The couch was very stained and broken (you fall right to the bottom when you sit). The bean bags were covered in stains, dirt, debris, etc. The walls and ceilings on the first floor were stained and filthy. There were also dead bugs smashed to them. In the bedroom on the first floor, the walls were disgusting, perhaps even mold growing on the ceiling (I can't confirm that it was actually mold). In the bathroom, the ceiling was COVERED in dirt/grime and dead bugs. The floor had public hair and dirt. The bathtub was visibly dirty. In the upstairs bathroom, there was also dirt, grass, debris, dead bugs, pubic hair, etc. on the floor. The shower liner was very dirty with mold and mildew. The towels provided were stained and dirty. The bedding was stained in the room I occupied. The furniture in the bedroom was filthy. The wall in my bedroom were grimy and had hand prints on it with what appeared to to be semen residue dripping down. The carpets upstairs did not appear to be vacuumed. The walls were also full of dirt and grime throughout the entire upstairs. Outside, there was a fake nail just sitting on the deck as well. This property is very poorly kept.
Excelllent location, really clean, nice comfy beds. It could really use more living room seating. Only one not so comfy couch so with 4 couples in November there wasn’t a great lounging space but other then that a great spot!
The Rose Cottage was an excellent place for our family to gather for a weekend. With the view out across Lake Erie, the setting was spectacular! We liked the spaciousness of the house for our family's needs. The rooms were neat and clean upon our arrival. We thought the kitchen was lacking some basic items such as hotpads and tea towels.
We so enjoyed our mini vacation at your Leamington property. The view was spectacular and we were blessed with windy, but great weather. Paul was fabulous helping me when I got stuck on locking the door. The whole family enjoyed their stay and the property is a great size, with room to play for the both the adults and little ones.
Would definitely rent here again.
