We really enjoyed our stay in the loft! It was small but perfect for the two of us. We came for a 3 day getaway to rest and relax and this was the perfect place! Little to no lighting. Be prepared for steep stairs, if you have luggage, you will want to lock the screen door open before hauling your luggage up the staircase. The door opens toward you and there is little space to stand while opening the door and it could be easy to lose your step. More steep steps when entering the entry way. The overall space is wonderful. Clean and the washer and dryer was a bonus. You will need to bring your own hair dryer, shampoo and body soap. If you need to Iron clothes, there is no Iron provided. Things we liked: View Proximity to local beach, Point Pelee ( owner left a pass) , Pelee Island Things that could be improved: We brought our own sheets and glad we did. In the info booklet, it says AC and a fire pit , but those must be for the main cottage downstairs.. the loft is VERY hot even with a ceiling fan, a fan for the bedroom and our own fan. The fridge bumps into the washing machine so you can’t open it all the way. It could use a deep clean.. it was “surface clean” though. I gave this property 4 stars but for a few details would be a five. The bathroom is OK but not as clean as it should be for a commercial property. The air conditioning did not cool kitchen & bath ( so we brought a fan with us so was not too bad) the sofa is very comfy but there’s no coffee table to lay your drink or cup down. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the outdoor space was amazing. An extra umbrella for the sitting area would have been appreciated.The Wifi was really spotty. If you’re not able-bodied this property is not for you. The stairs to the apartment is very steep and does not have an outdoor light.
