Other Things to Note:
ALTITUDE: Downtown Leadville sits at 10,152 feet. Plan your first 24 hours easy: drink double your usual water, ease up on alcohol, and avoid heavy exertion the day you arrive. Symptoms of altitude sickness include headache, nausea, and shortness of breath. Hot tub + altitude combination hits harder — pace yourself. We cannot offer refunds for altitude sickness — if you're prone, consider travel insurance.
NO A/C: Nights in Leadville run 40s–50s even in July. Windows and cross-breezes handle daytime warmth. A/C is not installed and is not needed at this elevation.
PETS: The Little Lodge is pet-friendly. $60 + tax for one pet, $120 + tax for two pets (maximum two). Please do not leave pets unattended outside. There is no grass yard — bring poop bags for walks. Pet fees are collected via the guidebook portal, not the booking channel.
HOT TUB: Small 2-person hot tub on the back deck. Hot tub operating instructions arrive with your check-in email. Please shower before using, no glass near the tub, and close the cover when not in use.
PARKING: Street parking directly in front of the home. No driveway or garage.
NO YARD: The home has a deck, not a grass yard. Factor this in for dogs.
CHECKOUT TIME: Checkout is 10:00 AM. This is earlier than some rentals — please plan departure accordingly.
QUIET HOURS: Leadville observes Quiet Hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep hot tub conversations at an indoor volume after 10 PM.
WILDLIFE: Mountain home in a residential grid. Occasional insect or small critter. Keep doors closed and trash indoors.
