The OVO Network team’s opinion - Chalet L’Ours Blanc is a ski-in ski-out chalet only 30 metres away from the slopes, and a short 5 minute walk from the centre of the village. With two double bedrooms, one twin and one bunkbed room, the chalet offers the perfect setting for two families with children of a similar age travelling together. The main living space offers two seating areas, where you can make use of the TV and DVD player, or unwind in front of the log fire. This open plan area is shared with a well-equipped kitchen, which overlooks the generous dining area. In the heart of the Chinaillon landscape, with access to 220km of sunny pistes if you take the Aravis lift pass, this cosy Chalet is the perfect home away from home for families of all skiing abilities. Guests can kick back and enjoy the unbeatable views of the Aiguille Verte and Mont Lachat from the comfort of the terrace and outdoor seating area, or relax in the sauna after a full day on the pistes. This chalet truly offers an all round, unforgettable experience for the whole family! Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Please note this is a semi-detached property. We are a family group consisting of young children, parents and grandparents and we all love it! The chalet is wonderfully set up, in a brilliant location. The snow was fantastic this year. Le Grand Bornand perfectly suits the skiing needs of our party. The design of the chalet has been very well thought out. Very comfortable, well laid out, plenty of space, all the facilities you want and need. The local team were excellent: we were met on arrival and shown around the property and everything the website said was accurate. Il est parfait pour deux familles. Nous avons apprécié la facilité d'accès aux pistes; nous avions un enfant niveau ourson et cela n'a posé aucun problème autant à l'aller qu'au retour. Autour du chalet, les enfants ont trouvé des espaces pour faire de la luge et ils se sont bien amusés. L'aménagement intérieur, avec la zone de rangement des skis et chaussures est également très pratique. Nous avons aussi aimé le grand volume dans la pièce de séjour (équipement pour la musique très agréable) , le sauna, etc. .., bref nous reviendrons. We had a really good week at Chalet L'Ours Blanc, it was just as seen in the photographs and we were really pleased to find that it was so close to the slopes so we were able to ski in and out for lunch which was a real bonus. We found the ski area to be extensive enough for a week without the need to travel to La Clusaz. The chalet was very well equipped and very spacious and comfortable.
