"We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."

The restaurant is amazing, and is recommended in the Michelin guide. Definitely the best dinner on our trip. "I get why the owner rents this unit out. The noise from the outside machines are simply annoying and being a light sleeper, it was a terrible night. The bed and shower were both comfortable. The proximity to everything is hard to beat."

"The non-smoking apartment smelled terribly of cigarettes, the shower was clogged and flooded the bathroom after one minute of use, the kitchen cabinets were falling apart, and the construction noise was deafening. Not sure why we paid so much for this place. "

"Decent good location. My experience was the building is going a through top to bottom renovation so shouting workers, power tools and hammering starts at 7:30 going all day. I also had a problem with a malfunctioning lock keeping me out of the apartment for a couple of hours, owner didn't pick up the phone which I had to borrow. He kept insisting that I call him when I explained multiple times as a tourist I couldn't make calls, only email or messaging. The thing is when returning to Trieste, I...
