Vacation cottage Chalet Spaciosa Lauwersmeer

Our new chalet, “Spaciosa,” offers you and your family a completely carefree holiday in the beautiful Lauwersoog holiday park, located right next to the “Lauwersmeer” National Park with its gently sloping sandy beach and sunbathing area. The “Wadden Sea” World Natural Heritage Site is within walking distance. Playgrounds, an indoor play area, and a water play area provide plenty of variety for the kids. A children’s entertainment programme is also offered during the season. There are numerous excursion options, such as a boat trip to the island of Schiermonnikoog, the fishing village of Zoutkamp, the tea factory in Houwerzijl, the charming town of Dokkum, the Waddenfun Adventure Park in Wehe-den Hoorn, the Pieterburen Seal Centre, and the lively and picturesque city of Groningen. These are just a few examples of the diverse range of activities available. Rent a boat, take a course at one of the local surf schools, go on a Land Rover safari through the national park, or enjoy a mudflat hike to refresh your mind and soul.
The park features a restaurant with a large lakeside terrace, a supermarket, and a bike rental service. Be sure to try the freshly caught fish at the various restaurants along the harbour.
Our chalet, which includes parking, is located about 100 metres from the sea.
