Calling all couples! Escape to Honey Bear, a studio style peaceful cabin in Hocking Hills! Cozy up to the gas fireplace, soak in the year round hot tub while taking in the incredible view. The outside covered deck is a great extension of the living space. Located close to Lazy Bear cabin and can be rented together to accommodate bigger groups or family gatherings! Must be 21 years or older to rent. 4x4 recommended.

Photos didn't do this space justice! It was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and very nice! We enjoyed the hot tub and the views. The only recommendation we have is to upgrade the bedding, including adding more (and new) sleeping pillows, which would bring this over 5 stars.

Our stay at the Honey Bear cabin was great. Clean, cute, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. It rained while we were there and the rain on the metal roof was so peaceful. The 7 mile view was amazing to wake up to and to watch as the sun went down. Process was so easy and we have already decided we’d love to make it a yearly trip! Thank you for being true to the listing and going above and beyond expectations!

Went for a Valentines weekend. Cabin was very cozy, well stocked and clean. Loved the deck, fireplace and hottub. Bed was really comfortable! Laurelville was super close for good breakfast as well as the State Park. Overall this was perfect for 2 people.

It's one thing to rent a cabin in the woods, it's on a different level when you add in that view. It was perfect & exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I really enjoyed this home. We loved sitting on the back deck every morning and evening. The view was beautiful. If you're looking for calm, peaceful and tranquil, this is the perfect place. The home offered everything we needed and more. It was clean, tastefully furnished and was true to the listing. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. We contacted the hosts with a question prior to booking and they responded quickly and were kind and polite. Loved the easy and quick check-in and check-out with the key being in a lockbox. We would definitely stay here again.

Truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Most Hocking Hills attractions were about half an hour away making for easy commutes. The view off the back deck was simply magnificent! Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning drinking my coffee. Even had a buck walk past. He didn't even know I was there. If you go, realize the cabin is basically one big room. The bed is right there in the open. Everything was clean, and we had great communication with the owners. Definitely recommend to others!

Great overall for a short couple getaway, the view is fantastic- only a few minor gripes

Overall, we had a great stay at the Honey Bear cabin, although there were a few minor issues/areas of improvement. I'll list the pros and cons below. Pros: - Easy, simple check-in and check-out process, no excessive cleaning or over-the-top requests - GREAT view, perfect for lounging around in the backyard or on the balcony - Good-sized, renovated bathroom - Ample amenities (dishwasher, grill, laundry machines, hot tub, fire pit, etc.) - Great size for 2 people (studio/open concept space, bedroom/living room/kitchen are all open to each other) Cons: - WiFi did not work for our short 2-day stay, even after minor troubleshooting - Although the large majority of the property was very clean, the hot tub was a little grimy. - Some of the dishes provided in the kitchen- particularly the pans, were a bit worse-for-the-wear, could be replaced - The main lighting for the space- two ceiling fan fixtures, had cold, very white bulbs in them, which sort of clashed with the warm kitchen and bed-lamp lights and otherwise warmth of the space - No garbage disposal in the kitchen- there was a bit of an odor in the area surrounding the sink/dishwasher/trash can (may have been another cause) ** The above complaints are all relatively minor and did not significantly impact our enjoyment of the stay, just worth noting! The pros, like the great view and long list of amenities, absolutely outweighed the cons!

A great getaway. Peaceful and beautiful view overlooking the valley with fall colors in backyard. Enjoy the Hot tub, Washer and dryer, however the coffee maker is too small and the bed mattress could be upgraded, We enjoyed are stay and visits to the state parks so much, that we would recommend and stay at Honey Bear cabin again.

Loved the one big room style. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed for cooking. Everything was very clean and neat. Only side note is use google maps and not Apple Maps to get to the place. Apple Maps took us to a different spot than where the cabin was located. We figured it out very quickly and arrived.
