The hotel is well located if you need to be in central Latina. The property is slightly dated, but was clean and comfortable. In the room, hot water and WiFi were both reliable. The breakfast buffet is basic but adequate - some nicer bread and juice would be good additions. When I arrived super early for check in because of a family emergency, I was allowed to check in early to rest which was very kind of the reception staff. The spa was lovely, room great and location fab. I didn’t get to try the restaurant as it was not open on Sunday evening and on returning from dinner out, the bar was also closed which was a pity. Great hotel, wonderful staff. The included breakfast was excellent. There was no kettle in the room to make tea and coffee nor an iron (although this seems to be the norm in Italy). The staff made me cups of tea at the bar when requested. There were no blackout curtains or blinds so the room was very light at night with spotlights from adjacent building and bright sun in the morning. The room was also very warm ( it was December), we had to turn off the heating and open the windows before going to bed to be comfortable. After going back and forth a few times we were told they just turned on the blower because in the ‘winter’ they don’t have AC. We did not have this issue traveling in Italy for over 25 days. It was strange and felt like they did not want to just tell us that from the beginning. Overall, the hotel is well kept and clean, with very nice staff that make for a pleasant stay. I stayed here for 3 nights and found that the hotel met most of my expectations. There are a couple items that kept me from giving 5 stars. The beds were too firm for me and the pillows too thin, so I did not sleep very well during my stay. I don't think this may be an issue for everyone and I've found other hotels in Europe to be similar, but lack of sleep can really make for a tough trip. Another small issue is the wifi connectivity where I would lose connection, requiring a manual restart of my apps or reinitiation of wifi which can be a little annoying. I will be revisting Latina again, but I will probably stay at a different hotel because of the bed/pillows.
