Indoor heated pool minutes to downtown Santa Fe

"Pros - house was big, outdoor space was nice. We had some wonderful dinners outside and really enjoyed stargazing at night. Host is very responsive.Cons - we were expecting more of an upscale luxury house given the price point (over 2k per night). Some areas were more updated than others, but a lot of rooms/bathrooms are probably original to the house (guessing 50 years). Kitchen cabinets need a good overhaul. The feel is more of rustic lodge than remodeled home.The biggest issue we had was keeping the house cool (we visited in July). All the rooms in the house basically open up to the indoor pool. Unfortunately, by noon or so every day, the pool room became extremely hot and humid, since there are ceiling windows that can't be covered and it creates a greenhouse. The mini split a/c is woefully undersized and not able to keep up, so in order to keep the rest of the house cool we had to keep all the doors shut to the pool area which made the house feel much more like a hotel rather than an open concept home. Same issue with the game room. It is a converted garage with no temperature control and lots of windows, so don't expect to use it other than in the early morning and later at night."

"This rental met all our expectations and more for our stay in Santa Fe. This is a extremely well maintained property inside and outside. The living room has everything you can imagine - very spacious with two comfortable couches, coffee table that folds out for playing board games provided by the hosts, fireplace and a very large TV. The fully equipped kitchen made making meals a breeze. We enjoyed the coffee bar and snacks - such a nice way to welcome guests. All three bedrooms are large with king size beds, walk-in closets, large dressers and TVs. The laundry room came in handy as we extended our stay.The outdoor covered patio has a stone table and chairs, gas grill and hot tub. We use this area every day of our visit. Loved the landscaping with the fruit trees around the patio. We even saw four small geckos! The hot tub was a big hit. So nice to use in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. The hosts were extremely quick to respond to all questions we had when we were making the reservations. The pamphlets and guest book were a welcoming touch for anyone visiting. Appreciated the check-in and check-out messages during our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and we were able to extend our stay! Definitely will come back and stay at this property."
