9.2/10 Wonderful! (11 reviews)
The home itself is absolutely stunning but the road to the villa is not just narrow, it's washed out in many places, we struggled to navigate the potholes even with a jeep and an SUV, I would not drive it at night. There are great amenities like the fridge and bathroom downstairs, the coffee / cocktail bar is fabulous. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic spices and supplies but it was crawling with roaches. Wifi is spotty so be sure to have the guidebook downloaded and screenshots of the phone number to call because the phone number posted throughout the villa is not functioning. Even in August the combination of ACs, fans, and breezes kept the temprature very comfortable. Excellent pool, though very little shallow area, if you're traveling with kids or weaker swimmers.

If I'm not able to travel, can I cancel my Lares travel package?
We get that unexpected stuff happens. If you've locked in a Lares travel package and have to change or cancel it, we can help. We suggest checking out our Customer Service Portal first for information. But generally speaking, if you've taken out your package within 24 hours, you may be able to cancel and rebook free of charge. If it's been longer than 24 hours, your airline, hotel or car rental company may impose a charge.

Does Expedia offer Book Now, Pay Later Lares holidays?
Expedia has teamed up with online lender Klarna to make your next break easier on the purse strings. Paying in instalments means you can spread the costs of your next dream escape, leaving you with more cash to spend while you're away. Klarna has several payment plans to pick from, so you're sure to find something that fits into your budget. Take a look at these flexible payment options:

How far in advance should I book my Lares holiday?
It all depends on the airline, but you can generally compare international airfares on Expedia nearly a year in advance. While it's generally a good idea to book ahead of time, lucky travellers will sometimes score a cheaper seat just weeks prior to departure dates.
What does an Expedia Lares travel package include?
Travel packages include hotels, flights and rental cars, but you can mix and match them to create your dream Lares holiday.
