The staff treat the people from the UK totally different to the Chinese in the level of service they provide. We booked a Deluxe Harbour View room but upgraded to one with Club access and we were glad that we did. The room had a great view of Victoria Harbour but the hotel did not comply with our request of a high floor. The room was on the 12th floor but most club rooms were between the 18th and 20th floors. The reason we upgraded to one with club access was that breakfast was included in the price. Although it was somewhat limited in the choice you had, and was mostly warm at best, it did save us quite a lot of money. However, the club room staff were annoying because they watched your every move, and as soon as one of you finished eating they would come and take the plate away. Despite this we were glad we did have the club access because all meals at the hotel were extremely expensive for what they provided. With regards the 5 star rating this hotel is given at best we would rate it a 3 star playing at 5 stars. Concerning the location it is to far out of the main attractions although the MTR is close. Therefore our advice is do not stay at this hotel and stay at one of branded hotels like the Hyatt if you are from the UK or English speaking country.
