"The house was very small but beautifully appointed. Parking at the top of a hill may cause problems for some but a slightly longer walk was much flatter and we took the car halfway down the hill to unload. All the rooms were decorated with love and both the living room and bedroom were very comfortable. The welcome pack was lovely too. The location was great, with pasties, beer and other treats on the doorstep. Highly recommend, so long as you’re okay with stairs."

"Love the location … for the obvious and some personal reasons. The description of this property is spot on. You couldn’t wish for a more perfect location and the overall space is wonderful. Yes, the building is tired and the general standard of fixtures, fittings and furnishing isn’t what you would expect for the cost. But if, like us, it’s all about the view and the perfect location, it more than makes up for downsides. Thanks to Rupert for helping us have a truly memorable stay."

Welcoming touches that we appreciated very much such as tea, milk and the bubbly to celebrate our boys off to Uni and the start of our holiday. The house was great for 2 families enough room to spread out being on different levels, some reading on the fantastic deck area, some in the lounge others chatting on the deck out by the kitchen. "Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
