The Wheelhouse

3.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (16)
"Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."

"We are walking the SWCP so location of this accommodation is just off the path right in the heart of Mevagissey. Would certainly consider coming back again for longer stay to investigate the area better. It was a Saturday Night we stayed, weather was superb and Mevagissey was buzzing. So have great memory of our brief stay."

"We had to pay the full amount for this apartment a year in advance, very unusual! On arrival after finally managing to get in the property, we had to climb 4 flights of dark, dirty stairs with our luggage. The balcony was above a roof beer garden, which was smelly with smoking and cooking smells. Nightclub noise there til2.0am Fri & Sat was AWFUL. We left after 4 days. We felt we were swindled with no warning of the noise or the stairs."
