Was a nice base for a weekend away. Overall, The properly is quite dated and in need of an update. Would suggest the hotel to rename the “Garden View Rooms” as the grounds outside are scorched/dead: which is quite disappointing. The bed is extremely comfortable. The room design, like the hotel, is dated - and the same goes for the gym (well equipped but dated). The breakfast and evening buffet offers a good selection and it was a nice touch to offer Brut at breakfast for guests to enjoy mimosa.
For special dinner occasions suggest to walk along the beach to Kayu Puti of St Regis Hotel - which also has a nicer bar for cocktails at Sunset with no reservations required.
For F&B and spa at the Westin - prices are international rates. There is a100RM corking fee at Tide restaurant - so guests can take advantage of the better wines available at the local supermarket just a few mins drive away and save considerably at the same time. Grab taxi and food is super easy to / from the hotel.
