We stayed here for two nights for a wedding. It’s a lovely B&B on a really beautiful property. The breakfast was very good and it was an overall enjoyable stay.
Beautiful grounds and hotel. This would be a beautiful place for a wedding or other special occasion. We were here for an overnight stay, but found it very comfortable and enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was great and the food was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was also wonderful. The only downside was that our room was on the third floor and it gets more difficult towards the end of a trip hauling that luggage up the stairs!
What a great place. An old mansion in top condition, and upgraded to modern standards. Great history. Grounds are a real park, the rooms are charming, rich antique furnishings, love the wood plank floors, squeaky stairs and upstairs floors. It's beyond charming. A different kind of hotel experience.
A very well-preserved and historic landmark. Every room is unique. Other guests were super quiet. Sit-down breakfast in a proper dining room. Made-to-order omlettes. If it had not been raining, we would have enjoyed the grounds very much. Look forward to another visit sometime.

Nice and quiet
The room was very nice and very clean but smaller room than I booked. The gas fireplace was difficult to start but then it was extra nice! They are pet friendly but you have to stay behind the mansion and dining area was closed on Mondays😩
the estate is beautiful.
our bathroom was super small with the toliet right over your knees . water pressure in shower was great. the bed super comfy slept like a rock. didn't know it was the 3rd floor. lol
Not good for people with bad knees. Breakfast awesome. The people that work there super nice also. great location.

Beautiful but needs a bit of work
The radiator heat shut off in the afternoon and never came back on, even though we turned the valve all the way open in the bedroom and bathroom. The little electric fireplace in the room wasn't big enough to keep the room warm. One of the doors on the shower/tub was stuck closed. The breakfast was small and should have been a buffet instead. The 10:30AM checkout was weird - it should have been 11 or noon like most hotels.
The rooms were big and beds were comfortable. WiFi was strong. The staff was very nice. The house is beautiful.
This is a National Historic property. The feel is incredible. We loved the history of the property, the room was updated as well as it could be while keeping with the historic mandates. The heat was sporadically too cool or too hot. We were able to use a portable space heater to warm more or open the window to cool when needed.
The bed was very comfortable and it was our first time sleeping in a canopy bed. We were in the Mary Cameron room, which was a corner room with lots of windows, a fireplace that had the electric illusion going full time (no smoke!), and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The water pressure was good that took a while to warm, but stayed warm through two long showers. This property cares enough about their guests to give you individual bathroom supplies so that you do not need to use bottles that strangers have used hanging on the wall. It was Bergman Kelly brand hair/bath products and Colgate with a toothbrush.
Melissa checked us in, served us dinner, served us breakfast, and kept our room clean and stocked with supplies. She was amazing, friendly, and a real asset to the property.
The dinner and breakfasts were good. The restaurant is only open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. So, plan to find another local option if staying on a Monday or Tuesday. Breakfast is only 8 am to 9 am. It is nice at a clothed table, and you order and it is served. The food was good, not great, but good enough to be very enjoyable with no complaints.

They were not open when I arrived. Approximately 9:10 pm
Quaint, historic - we felt like we were transported back in time. Rooms were authentic for the time period of the building. Grounds were beautifully kept, lots of places to stop and relax. Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back for a stay!
It was a wonderful stay. Everyone was very helpful.
I just noticed underneath bed and furniture was very dusty, even a bottle from a previous visitor I guess.
A fair price for a nice place. The grounds were gorgeous and the room was like staying in your grandmas house. People's were welcoming and there was coffee and water available 24/7.. We didn't get to eat there but it looked like it was done with care. Would definitely stay there again.
Charming old estate with beautiful grounds. Breakfast and coffee we're good. Very enjoyable overnight stay. A little disappointed that they charged me $25 to check in an hour early.
Wall paper peeling of the wall , the room was freezing , was told that fireplaces in the rooms were all switched to electric. Not luxury as it was listed
