"Wonderful stay here for 2 weeks .Great lake views,short walk to old town and ferry to tour the lake Pool was well maintained and never too busy.Plenty of sun loungers in olive garden with shade or sun if you preferred.Breakfast was good and restaurant Essentia served lovely food for lunch and dinner .All the staff were attentive,friendly and helpful-special mention for Simone,Sebastian,Piero and Fabio.Will hopefully visit again soon.Thank you hotel Ideal for such a wonderful stay ."

"The location is beautiful and right in the centre of town. 20 minutes walk from the train station and 5 from the ferry terminals. The balcony on our terrace had plenty room for the 2 of us to sit there and enjoy the view. Our room was comfortable although the shower cubicle on the small side. The room and hotel in general, although rather dated was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. The service from the breakfast team was superb as was the choice and quality of food on offer. Sitting outside on the sheltered terrace enjoying the view of the old harbour each morning is something that will be sorely missed by ourselves. Unfortunately, there was one downside to our stay when we had an issue with something in the bathroom one evening. The "no can do" attitude of one of the reception staff really let down our otherwise superb stay at this beautiful hotel and town."

"The hotel isvery easy to gettofrom the A4 and the ring road to. Dont be put off that its close to the motorway and a big truck stop, you dont here it hardly at all. The only thing i would say to traveller from other countries is bring your power adapters. My room had not asingle USB socket apart from the tv. So be prepared for that. The restaurant served excellent food and the service was superb. The bathroom was great with a double length shower and everything you need except a tooth brush. I travelled there on my motorcycle and had no issues parking it or with security, but do lock it regardless "

"We had a lovely stay in Desenzano at Hotel Riviera, where Desenzano provided the perfect base for us to explore Lake Garda as we had been travelling Italy via trains. We had a balcony and lake view room, which provided gorgeous views and caught the morning sun. For us that was definitely worth upgrading for. The room felt spacious and modern. There was only a mini bar fridge in the room though, so storing any drinks to cool was a challenge, especially with the 30 degree heat. Only gripe with the room was that the shower had poor temperature regulation, where often it would cycle. The roof terrace with sun loungers was a cracking touch, especially for days of just relaxing. The hotel was only a short walk to the ferry port, and < 20mins walk to the train station. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would opt to stay again in the future!"

"One of the best staff I ever deal with, Alexandra, Silvia, Andreas and I think Clava, they were all so helpful. Property is very well kept and the breakfast was great. the only thing missing is maybe a shuttle service from and to the train station, that would be perfect since taxi service and public transportation is unreliable "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Serenella, it is in a lovely quiet location but a short walk away from restaurants, shops etc.The staff are amazing and so helpful, our rooms were lovely and clean as was the pool area. The breakfast was amazing! and set us up nicely for each day. I could go on and on!, I picked the best place to stay and would happily go there again we had a wonderful time. "Tgis place is always great. The location is perfect to see everything the city has to offer. The staff is over the top. The in house restaurant and bar are great. Being steps away from the cathedrale and other eateries is a bonus. Also Roman ruins are about a 10 minute walk. "
