Open for Christmas, come enjoy a beautiful Tahoe winter. Mid Week discounts in place, The Fair Meadow family retreat is located on a very quiet cul de sac in the Montgomery Estates neighborhood of South Lake Tahoe. It is a perfect location for the family to gather and reconnect. This spot is centrally located, a short drive to the Lake, to Heavenly Ski Resort to the village with shopping and dining options. The Fair Meadow family retreat features an entry level great room with open living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room is accented by a wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, a cozy couch (and throw blankets for cool winter nights) and nook for the kids to sit and play games or do a puzzle. The dining room table seats 8 and there is a slider to the back yard for summer BBQs (the yard is fenced). The kitchen is well equipped for the family chef to prepare meals for everyone. There is a 5 burner gas stove, all stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and microwave. A half bath and the laundry complete the main floor. The backyard is fenced and there is a patio for BBQs and relaxing in the sun. Upstairs: The first bedroom has a two beds, queen and full The second bedroom has a king bed There is a full bath with tub/shower combo in the hallway. The primary suite features a king sized bed, with a twin futon (perfect for little ones), a en suite bath with tile shower. There is a TV located in the primary bedroom. (there is also a mattress on the floor also good for the littles) Foosball game included for the young or young at heart. This home has been recently upgraded and decorated, it is in immaculate condition and ready for your family to create Tahoe memories. There is a gas BBQ. Your dog is welcome but due to extra wear and tear on the property there will be a $25.00 a day pet fee. The backyard is fully fenced. El Dorado County Permit # 072858 TOT # 65043 Maximum Occpancy: 6 Occupancy rules in effect at all times Maximum Number of Vehicles: 4 Quiet Hours Must Be Observed between10:00pm-8:00am Note for all reservations: While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay. When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared. Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snow plows that clear the roads. 4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low profile vehicle you may have difficulties. Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. First, we thought the 2471F was square footage, that is not correct so a little misleading. It is closer to about 1,600-1,700 sq ft. But in a quiet neighborhood. Had garage access (one car, tight fit for a van). Location is south of South Lake Tahoe, about 15-20 minutes to get to the main areas to visit. Only 10 minutes to either of the two main grocery stores. Kitchen was adequate but some outdated items, huge sink was great with sprayer and disposal and huge fridge/freezer that was very nice. Laundry room is actually in the downstairs bathroom, washer/dryer did the job. Home has no A/C, but in the evening cooled down quite a bit with windows open for an end of June stay. Beds were comfortable. Downstairs was great and the dining room table was great. Advertises a foosball game but never saw it. Water comes on hot very fast which is a plus. Wi-Fi great. Wood type floors downstairs and in the bathroom, carpet for stairs and upstairs may be getting a little worn. This is a nice clean comfortable home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and perfect location, if you enjoy being in South Lake Tahoe this place is great and next to many beaches, walks, restaurants and the casino action is nearby if you like that also :) ##### Eyal S. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family visited just a few weeks ago & we’re so glad we chose this house! The home was very clean & comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and provided tons of food storage containers which came in handy packing for an all day trip at the lake.
