Close to Heavenly Ski Resort. The Bear Creek Cabin features 2 bedrooms, 2 living areas and a completely updated new kitchen. The back yard is spacious and allows plenty of room to gather and bbq (BBQ is seasonal) Dogs/Cats are not allowed as the homeowner is extremely allergic-ask us about our other dog friendly homes. Located in the beautiful Cold Creek Trail section of South Lake Tahoe. It is an a short 7-10 minute drive to Heavenly' s California Base Lodge or the Gondola at the Heavenly Mountain Resort Village. Depending on your favorite beach spot it is an easy 10-15 minute drive. The Bear Creek Cabin is a perfect spot to stay if you want to come up and: ski, hike, mountain bike, explore, sight see, go to the casinos for shows or playing, multiple dining options are found throughout the South Shore. The Bear Creek Cabin is a single story home that has been lovingly maintained and upgraded. The front of the house features the living room with a fireplace and windows that overlook several forested lots across the street. The kitchen has been completely remodeled, new granite counters all new stainless steel appliances and is well equipped for those that love to cook. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small dining nook and a spacious family room. The family room is a great place to relax. There is a slider to the back yard and patio. During the warmer months there is patio furniture and a picnic table. The yard is fenced and has plenty of room for the kids to play no matter what the season is. There are two bedrooms with all new comforters, pillows and mountain themed décor. The full bath is shared by both bedrooms. In addition there is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Bedroom 1 Queen Bedroom 2 Queen 1 Full Bath Queen Futon in family room Woodstove in family room Open fireplace in the living room, wood burning. Carport Garage is not accessible The three bedroom cabin next door is also available for rent-perfect if two families want to come to Tahoe together. There is no air conditioning. There is a Ring camera on the driveway, owners check to see if the bears are out and about. Note for all reservations: While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay. El Dorado County Vacation Rental Permit # 073861 TOT # 65346 Occupancy: 4 people children 5 and under are not counted. Occupancy rules are in place at all times. Quiet Hours Must Be Observed between 10:00pm-8:00am When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared. Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snow plows that clear the roads. 4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low profile vehicle you may have difficulties. Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. The house was spacious and very cozy. Check-in was easy. We were impressed with how well-stocked it was—especially the kitchen. Great location with most places we wanted to go being a 10 minute drive or less including Heavenly, grocery stores and restaurants. We also appreciated the attention to detail in the house’s charming decor. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Kelsy N. Perfect location. It had a fully stocked kitchen and functioning laundry. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and comfy family room. The staff was very responsive to our questions. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 3 nights. The property had everything you would need and was well stocked with helpful utensils, dish and laundry items. The home is cozy and comfortable. It was perfect for all of us! Our baby loved all the teddy bears there and it was her first experience with a fireplace (which added to the cozy, comforting appeal) and her first time in snow (which we were not expecting so late in April but what a nice surprise!). We were able to contact the property manager to get an earlier check-in and also add on another day due to the snow with ease. My husband and I were super impressed with how much came in the kitchen! This kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could think of needing and was super clean. We also loved how quiet the neighborhood was; it felt tucked away and private.
