"This place itself is amazing! It's expensive, but the views of the canal and watching ships come in right from your Jacuzzi is amazing. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and there's plenty of pillows. Including for the patio chairs. The young lady that checked us in was super helpful, very professional and polite. The guy that was there in the morning for their "breakfast" was very short, and condesending. When one of the other patrons asked for him to switch out the coffee he slammed everything around, and changed the entire vibe in the small dining area. Now as for the breakfast, it was okay, for a 350 a night spot it definitely could have had some warm option other than toast/bagels. But the Duluth bread offerings are good, don't get me wrong. Apart from the morning guy it was an amazing trip for my wife and I."

"LOVED balcony on water side. Loved location…close to everything in Canal Park. Good beds. Lots for breakfast options but not high quality food. Pool and sauna in very small room with no ventilation….need some open windows for air. But in general a wonderful place and location!"

"As far as Canal Park in Duluth, this hotel is the most economical. The Suites are very spacious and well maintained. We have stayed here three times now. I don't even check the other hotels anymore."

"Very comfortable beds with great "black out" curtains. The only real issue was typical hotel stuff like slamming doors late at night from other guests. We travel a lot and it still amazes me how people think hotels are not for sleeping when its 2-3am. Someone will be rich when they invent the soft/quiet close hotel door."
