Lincoln Park in Duluth blends natural beauty with artisanal charm. Miller Creek flows through extensive green spaces where hiking trails wind past historic homes. The revitalised Lincoln Park Craft District showcases local breweries and artisan workshops housed in converted brick warehouses. Visitors can explore the Duluth Children's Museum or watch creek-side wildlife. Charming cafes serve hearty Midwestern fare while craftspeople create pottery and textiles in area studios. The peaceful residential streets offer an authentic glimpse into local Duluth life away from tourist crowds.

The area offers budget-friendly dining in student-oriented cafes and local coffee shops. During academic terms, the university hosts cultural events and sports games that welcome visitors.

North Shore

The North Shore area captivates visitors with its dramatic Lake Superior frontage and residential charm. Tree-lined streets showcase historic homes and modern condos perched above the rocky shoreline. There are numerous viewpoints to take in Great Lakes views. "It was an easy check in. We were able to get into the room 30 minutes early. Happy hour was much appreciated with $1.50 off most drinks and $3 off their pizzas. We didn’t have to go out the first night. It was great . The breakfast bar is larger than most and good quality. There is a small indoor pool, sauna and hot tub but I didn’t see anyone use them. They were outside playing games"
