"My family spent the weekend in Saranac lake. The Ashley turned out to be a nice enough "guest house". They do not a staffed office on site. Check-in, payments, and check-out are handled via texts (which is not very personable). The property is in a very convenient location. Several near-by restaurants, parks and local attractions are in easy walking distance from the Ashley. The property is dated but in good repair. Everything in our rooms was clean and well maintained. The bed was more comfortable that it looked. Only downside for us was that our air conditioner was really noisy (so we turned it off at night and opened a window)."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Birch Suite in Colden Lodge! The suite was absolutely immaculate, bed was super comfy and the location was just right. Close enough to walk to town but without the noise. Beautiful lakeside lodge. Amazing hosts! It was the perfect anniversary getaway for us."

"Great house/ large rooms and many added amenities. Host was very quick to respond to any question. Location was great-a few minutes walking into Saranac Lake village/and 15 car drive to Lake Placid Village and Olympic sites. Use of the kayaks and floating raft made the week! I highly recommend"

"Baker Cabin was peaceful, clean and well run. Bobby and Walter made us feel welcome and comfortable and were there if we needed something. We had a great week fishing and relaxing. Would definitely recommend."
Lakeside Home with Mountain Views

"The property is centrally located and within walking distance to the wine store, Aldis, Dollar General and the famous ice cream stand "Mountain Mist." It is directly on the water with a flat backyard for ease of access for the elderly. We were able to rent a boat and had it delivered for the week and there are a several kayaks to use at the house too. No ceiling fans, but multiple very functional rotating fans if you are staying in the summer. The kitchen set up is great, and there are four separate private bedrooms - 3 upstairs and 1 downstairs. There are also 2 bathrooms - one upstairs and one downstairs. There is only 1 tv in the central upstairs living room, so if you have a tribe who can't agree on the movie that is the only downside. We have stayed here before and the host is always great about communicating with you."

"The views cannot be matched, the lake was lovely and we spent most days floating and hanging by the water. The walk down to the lake is a little steep in case anyone has mobility issues, just be aware. The hot tub was great and the space around the fire pit was perfect for gathering at night. We would definitely return!"

"Our full week stay at the cabin was everything hoped for and met or exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were always available during our entire stay and easy to contact. The cabin is an ideal get-away for a couple and the location is perfect. We definitely hope to return."
