A great base for outdoor activities around Saranac Lake. Spacious room at a great price. Nice, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Good parking with easy access to the building. Not fancy, but has everything we were looking for. Our go-to lodging when we’re in the area.

The hotel was perfectly located (next to Casa del Sol) and in walking distance to Mountain Mist. The breakfast was a complete rounded selection between healthy and yummy. In our room we had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There’s an indoor pool with an outdoor patio. About 1/2 mile away is an Aldi and a dollar store. Great for families making their own meals. We went to LaBella’s and Casa; both winners. I will be back. Love Saranac Lake and this hotel.

Price was our reason for choosing this hotel. Parking was plentiful and free. . No elevator to second floor, which was a bit of an issue for one of us, and tiled stairway was slippery. Rooms were clean and comfortable. AC worked great on a hot summer day! Towels and sheets were worn, but clean. This hotel is a good choice for a basic stay, if you don't expect luxury amenities.

Front desk gentleman was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Asked for a couple extra pillows and he immediately obtained them for us. We were on the 2nd floor. No elevator but I knew that from the description. Spacious room with king bed that was comfortable enough for one night. Price point was much better than other hotels in Saranac. Free parking onsite. Cons-no shampoo in the shower dispenser. Ice machine not working on 2nd floor. Breakfast was bleak- no hot protein. Cereals, waffle machine, packets of instant oatmeal and bread/bagels for toasting. Apples and oranges. Breakfast room only had 4 tables for 4 and the room was in disrepair.

The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was clean. There were enough towels and washcloths for the three of us. The breakfast was OK. They did have a waffle maker there, but I did not use it. The indoor pool is not heated so it was cold. Some of the doors were rusty. The carpets definitely need an updating.. The staff was helpful. it was OK for the money paid.
