"We had a fantastic stay overall and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The bartender was great—friendly, attentive, and made the evenings especially enjoyable. The daytime staff was also very kind and welcoming once we arrived, which set a positive tone for the trip. However, the experience took an unexpected turn when I asked to extend our stay by one additional night. I was told we would need to move to a different room, which honestly surprised me. In all the years of traveling, I’ve never encountered a situation where extending a stay meant being relocated—that was just weird. After, I wanted to take a quick jump in the pool before I headed out and asked for a late check out instead Iand that was even denied. By then, was over it. While the stay started strong, that inconvenience put a bit of a damper at the end. Overall, a good experience with great staff, but the room change thing for one extra night on a Thursday was just strange. Although we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, great staff, and good food…. I am not sure I would return after the front desk damper. "

"Moonshine Digs Cabin was dreamy. The setting was wooded and private, and so quiet. The hot tub worked great and was also in a private setting. Lots of hikes nearby, too. Communication with the host was spot-on, with lots of check ins and offers of information."

"So beautiful and reasonably priced. Everything was functional, clean and they were well stocked with essentials. Additional things like games, streaming and some comfy robes were very appreciated.Everything was clean, expectations were clear and had a great birthday because of this great property!"
