Decorated with the help of legendary local photographer and artist Micheal Underwood. Enjoy the beauty of the San Juan Mountains during the day and then again in the evening with the amazing Underwood photography in this elegant comfortable Suite. Located within walking distance of town park, Lake City Brew Pub, several restaurants and activities, 0.6 miles. The space Bedroom 1 comfortable Queen bed and bedding. Bedroom 2 comfortable Queen bed and bedding. New fold down Full size modern sleeper couch. There are 2 full size bathrooms with roomy oversized showers. A full kitchen with full size fridge, microwave and stove. We Provide soap, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, Pots pans etc This Suite 2 is located on the second floor of the building. Guest must climb a flight of stairs. It is against the side of a mountain creating the ultimate back porch privacy. Amazing mountain views abound. If you need more or less space Look at our other Gowdy Properties here in Lake City. The Gowdy Manor, sleeps 16, 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom. The Bonnie Rose, sleeps 12, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom. Jim gave us a plethora of information of things to do. We explored the Alpine Loop, did some hiking and visited the old mines. Loved going up to Windy Point at night to see the stars. My wife, another couple and I spent two nights at this gem of a place in Lake City. We used the fire pit on the first night and the hot tub. The next day, we hiked Handies Peak and again used the hot tub. The kitchen had all the utensils needed and the place was perfect. Very small apartment. Fairly well stocked. Comfortable accommodations. Had a great deck. Has a hot tub but we didn't use. Oven hadn't been cleaned in awhile and when we used it to toast garlic bread for dinner it set the smoke detectors off as it burned off whatever was in there. Jim was a fantastic host and the place had everything we needed. Nice big windows, fun to watch deer in the back and front, and the stars were incredible! We loved sitting out on the deck amidst the aspen grove. The place was cozy and perfect for 2 couples, plus our dog. It was our first time to Lake City and the scenery here is gorgeous. Everyone in town was so friendly and welcoming. My husband accidentally left something behind, and when I texted Jim, he was right on it, found it and sent it to us the same day. :) We would definitely stay here again! ##### Tracy G.
