The best time to go to Lagarde-D'Apt is during the late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

May and June offer warm, sunny days great for exploring the lavender fields, which typically begin to bloom in mid-June. The temperatures are comfortable for outdoor activities like cycling or walking through the countryside, and the villages are not yet at their busiest.

September and October bring cooler, crisp air and often clear skies, ideal for hiking or visiting local markets without the summer heat. The grape harvest is underway, offering opportunities to see the winemaking process. The tourist season is winding down, meaning a more relaxed experience at popular attractions.

While July and August are popular due to school holidays, they can be very hot and crowded, especially around the main lavender field areas.
