Went with my family to celebrate a 60th birthday the home was very comfortable and room for everyone lots to do from broad games to pool table beds were very comfortable I would recommend this home
Very nice woodland setting, great neighborhood. Purpose of trip was a family gathering, and the property supported that purpose well.
Kitchen was well equipped and there’s plenty of room. Restaurants and groceries in the area are good.
We will be back!
This house was ideally located for our two households and we had a fabulous time enjoying the many amenities provided. The owner was extremely gracious and offering us early check in and late check out. Thank you again!
Excellent property, great host, boundless amenities. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed, Communication by host was above par.
The community is great, and we enjoyed the lake, beach, paddle boating, kayaking, swimming pools. We also ate great meals at the Tiki Bar, Scramble and the Summit.
Very clean property!! A+++++++++
Can't say enough good things. it was the cleanest rental that we have ever experienced. Comfortable beds, Large refrigerator, several TVs,(although we did not watch much), immediate response from owners when we had questions. Great amenities, lake, 2 pools, horseback riding, mini golf as well as a small marketplace and a great outside bar with live music. You can also sit at the house with good company and enjoy the deer passing through. A+ recommendation.
Gina and Scott were great hosts, very responsive to any questions we had. House was great! The community has a lot of activities to offer. The pool was great!
We had everything we needed for a very enjoyable holiday week at Masthope/Big Bear. The house is very comfy, just like the photos, with a large mostly private tree lined yard. Gina and Scott went out of there way to accommodate our changes and to check in to see that we had everything we needed when a large snow storm was predicted. I would definitely recommend their house without hesitation and look forward to future trips.
Gina's place was excellent for my group of 8-9 adults who were looking for a place to relax over a weekend. We had two large rooms where everyone could hang out together as well as the fire pit outside - it was perfect for all of us to catch up and relax. There was also plenty of space for everyone to sleep. My city friends enjoyed seeing the turkeys, deer, and chipmunks right from the house.
This house was perfect for our large family. Very clean and spacious and plenty of room for the 8 of us. House had everything we could possibly need and was very clean. Teens in our group loved the basement which had air hockey, ping pong and a pool table. Gina was a pleasure to deal with and responded very quickly with any questions I had. Would definitely stay there again.
Very comfortable home. Check in and check out very easy. We had 7 people and had plenty of room. Home is well stocked. Homeowner is wonderful responding to any questions or concerns. However even though there is a fireplace and a fire pit you must get your own wood or pay 20.00. Be aware there are extra charges for not abiding by their requests. You must also pay 20.00 for leaving food in fridge, not discarding all trash etc. etc.
We were a party of four couples and had an exceptional stay at this beautiful property, complete with a well-equipped kitchen, state-of-the-art Weber grill with plenty of propane, and spacious deck for wildlife watching. The home was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The house offers ample entertainment options, including a fire pit, indoor fireplace, pool table, air hockey, ping pong and board games. The Summit restaurant provided fantastic food and service at very fair prices. The hosts were highly responsive and ensured we had a seamless experience. We highly recommend this home and can't wait to visit again!
Our one concern prior to signing the rental agreement was the statement about the roads. For a mountain region, we didn’t find the roads steep, or difficult to travel.
We had a good stay at this property - a 4.5/5.0. The location was a bit more remote than expected, in terms of proximity to the nearest grocery store, gas station, restaurants, etc. The house was comfortable, the hot water plentiful, and there were enough bedrooms/sleeping areas to accommodate our group of five. The deer were everywhere! They were friendly and seemingly quite used to people, but caution was a must when driving, day or night. Our chief recommendation would be to add more lighting in the large living room area - floor or table lamps would have been preferable in addition to the two ceiling recessed lights. The bathroom lighting could have been brighter, the ceiling fan in one of the main floor bedrooms did not work, and there were just a few ‘oddities’ (pilot light in basement fireplace and a Bluetooth light flashing behind the basement tv, for example, that would have been helpful to know about via a posting or renters’ manual so that we didn’t have to bother our hosts quite so often. We enjoyed the home, the fire pit, and the beautiful fall weather and numerous hiking opportunities in the area.
This is our second time staying at this fabulous home and we were very happy to find it available for our time slot! We love the large open spaces where we can all gather, yet also have plenty of room to spread out when desired. The owners have thought of everything one might need while there, from kitchen items to beach chairs, pool towels and beyond. The game room was, again, a huge hit with the teens. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the beds were a bit on the hard side, but that's a personal preference. Other than that, not only was the home absolutely immaculate, but everything was functional and in excellent repair. Scott and Gina were a pleasure to work with as well. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time at this home. It has everything you could possibly need including state of the art Weber grill. Gorgeous, large deck to watch wildlife. Kitchen is equipped with every single pot, pan, utensil you may need. Hosts are very easy to contact & very responsive. Lake community is very nice! Lake, pools, restaurant are all great. Quiet and lovely. Will visit here again!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Home was very beautiful, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped; Location to pool and restaurant was very convenient.
