"Great place for peace and quiet after visiting wineries and Chateau Monbazillac. It’s larger than the photos depict and quite comfortable. The bed is soft with down pillows so sleeping can be challenging until you adjust to a more relaxed environment. The room is dark when the shutters are closed. Martin and his family are welcoming and yet allow total autonomy. "

"Great location just off the motorway, very efficient check in and although the meal we had was expensive for what appeared to be a microwave dish, we were happy as a family to have it available. The room was large, two separate bedrooms and a huge bathroom. Warm, clean and comfortable."

"We had an amazing stay, Jill and Marylene were wonderful! They had a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding history in the area which was so interesting. We were left to ourselves and the gite was perfect. It had everything you needed, even some left over mosquitos spray which you will need being close to the Dordogne. The pool was welcome due to the heat and warm. You couldn’t wish for a more relaxing stay and lovely people.We visited Eymet and Montpazier two beautiful villages, with shops, markets and restaurants both recommended, but mostly stayed at the gite which says it all I think.
