"The house being rented is the gaurds house next to the road. The yard is fully enclosed and gated. Our family 16 and 19 year olds really enjoyed this property. They got their own rooms with friends. They played pickel ball. We walked to the bakery. We saw fawns in the morning by the castle. The castle is needing renovations to the point that it is condemned. "A lovely "getaway from it all" location. Sweet little gite, a bit basic (not luxury) but had everything we needed and more, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Owner was very responsive. Village is very quiet and it's a few minutes drive to the nearest town for shops and restaurants. Not a very touristy area which we loved, but only about an hours drive to Rouen, Amiens, Monet's garden (all of which were busy)."
