Cozy and modern within minutes of La Veta and the historic Cuchara village (and the famous Dog Bar)! Several lakes and lots of hiking awaits you! A mountain retreat you will never forget!

Property was quiet and the cabin was cute and cozy! The views are what make this property spectacular! The cabin has everything you will need for your mountain getaway! Fishing is close by with a few options for lakes!

Great views!

Great views of the mountains! Perfect for a couple who want to be off the grid. Things I wish I would have known ahead of time: no WiFi on property (which makes tv unusable unless you have cell service up there - we did not), no washer/dryer, no dishwasher, gas fireplace doesn’t work, and minimal indoor lighting. Property was super clean though, beds were comfy, towels were super soft, property was quiet, and the views are unbeatable. If you want to be glamping and totally off grid, this is the place for you :)

Grill and fire pit cover are shot and falling apart. Upgrade toilet paper quality to eliminate waste. House needs a good cl.

A nice, relaxing getaway

This cabin was the perfect getaway for us as we celebrated our 20th anniversary. It was clean and neat. Our host was quick to respond. We would love to return again some day.
