"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"The room was okay, nothing special, but it was clean. There’s nothing nearby at all, so you definitely need a car. Our reservation was cancelled at first for no valid reason, and staff later entered our room while we were sleeping, claiming they hadn’t received payment. I had to show proof that we’d paid correctly, and despite the mistake being theirs, there was no apology for the disturbance. Unprofessional and poorly handled."

"The hotel was excellent! The room was nicer than we expected. The breakfast was also very good. The restaurant however was a letdown. It was charming and the service was good but I ordered pasta with mussels and it was inedible. I am not a food snob by any means and I will eat almost anything but the meal was so salty that I forced myself to eat a portion of it because I was really hungry. The pasta was really salty the broth had no flavour other than salt and the mussels also were super salty and otherwise tasteless. Probably the worst pasta dish i have ever been served. Too bad because as a Canadian coming to Italy my expectations were a little higher. I told the server than it was not good and I actually expected them to not charge me for it but they did , and I imagine the server never told the cook ( I would say chef but that would be a huge exaggeration). Therefore I am writing this review because it was terrible . My wife’s dish was okay , but not great. Our friends fish was good although it came with nothing but fish , so on a scale of 10 I would give the restaurant a 3."

"The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The hallways were quiet at night without any appreciable noise. Some of the staff were very friendly and others were less so. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Their laundry service was very good. The parking was a bit tight in the front of the hotel. Overall, it was a good hotel and definitely one of the better ones in the area."
