Good location, nice staff, comfortable bed. They need to upgrade pillows and general updates, paint outside. Great laundry facilities. Good option for a longer stay. Great for families

The room was clean. The staff is great and helpful. The rooms were spacious, and having a full kitchen was great. Some would say it might feel slightly outdated, but I like a retro style. Things changed since my last visiting San Diego (was there in 2009). It is not the hotel, it is the general experience as "money grab" somehow became a norm in California. 28 USD a night for parking of a rental car on the property, and it is not even a downtown of SD... Used to be free. But, again, it is the general impression from California, not the hotel itself. I would recommend the hotel.

Room was “generally” clean but as dated as this place is - should feel thoroughly cleaned. Old hair stuck on the walls. Time to clean the carpet. Need to wash down the walls. Definitely will NOT be returning. Not to mention we had issues with the TV… the maintenance guy said he probably just needed to replace it… he “fixed” it but by the time the problem returned, maintenance was gone for the day so that meant another night with a static TV. Two stars ONLY because the bed was extremely comfortable!

As all Marriott’s this property was well situated within driving distance to anything you’d need. The rooms are large and well laid out. The kitchen could be better equipped with cooking utensils though. Parking is very expensive.

had a fantastic stay in La Jolla — the location was ideal, close to beaches, shops, and top restaurants. The rooms were spacious and had plenty of room to spread out.
