"Somewhat mixed feelings. We arrived and the budget room we had booked was tiny and had no draw space to put clothes and only a rail to hang things. We requested a larger room and got one at an extra cost which was fine. The location was stunning over looking a field of sunflowers (its a shame they had gone past their best. We chose the hotel as it was out of the town but had a restaurant, unfortunately it was not open on the night we arrived (Friday night!) so we had to walk the busy road...

Agnes was amazing. Phoned ahead to say we would be delayed and arrive after front desk closed. Quickly sent a text to me detailing room no. Room code and wi-fi code. Took pressure off us on our late flight. Next morning she gave us some free coffees as we missed breakfast. A bubbly super friendly and helpful lady. Directions, iron borrowing etc. Room clean quiet cool (41 degrees outside!) Cleaning staff all running around motivated and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic heated pool and gorgeous food served by friendly accommodating staff. Great value for money and the hotel is perfectly placed to discover the jewels of the Dordogne such as Perigueux and the cave paintings at Lascaux. The only slight issue is a bit of bliss from the road right behind the pool and the breakfast could have been better for the price. But great stay overall’

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. What a lovely hotel to stay for a few days and explore the local area. Our room was very clean and comfortable with aircon and a minibar. The pool area was stunning and a perfect place to cool down in the recent heatwave. Christine was so welcoming and suggested different places to visit whilst we were there. Yes it’s up a hill but really not too bad to walk back up from the town if you take it steady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat.

Absolutely beautiful new hotel. Warm welcome on arival and excellent show around and room check in. The room was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. Separate living area, bedroom bathroom and private terrace. Nice to have air-conditioning during the hot weather. The pool was lovely and also over seen by the bar staff who give you a bottle of chilled water when you get there. The bbq on a friday is certainly worth doing the food and cocktail were amazing 5 out of 5 for everything.
